April 27, 2024 the first Mayfest at Thistledown Farm! 
Don't miss out!This event is free this year but we need to have tickets to ensure everyone has a place to park. MAYFEST!  Celebrating a time that marks a divide in the year when the darker days have ended and the light begins.  As nature stirs again, waking from its cold slumber, everything begins to grow and it is time to celebrate fertility and new life. Join us and celebrate in a magical festival to delight all ages. The day will include an artisan market, 3:00pm -7:00pm, live music, a fairy parade, leading to a maypole dance, activities for children, and local music, food and drink. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and picnic and enjoy the day with your neighbors.  It all leads to a stunning Beltane style fire and drum circle at dusk. (store your drum in the barn). This free outdoor festival will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, 3 PM - 9 PM.
Our mission at Thistledown is building community, recognizing our connection with the earth, appreciating and sharing experiences with neighbors and friends, and growing nutritious food and sharing with people in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. We will be accepting donations for SAFE (South Alamance Family Empowerment) food bank at the event. Follow us on social media for updates!
